Creating sales funnels, landing pages, and sales pages all require a funnel or page builder. With a lot of builders out there, you’re probably looking for the right one for you. Because in marketing, there’s no tool that can accomplish everything at once. So you’d look for a tool that has almost all you need. It’s left to you to figure out the features each of these builders have and how they’ll fit into your goals.

Seeing all of this, in this post, I’ll be sharing an unbiased review on both Leadpages and Funneljoy builders. In the end, you’ll decide which is better suited for your marketing needs.

Funneljoy Page Builder Overview

Funneljoy page builder

Funneljoy is a sales funnel conversion builder. What this means is that it not only helps you create pages for your website but also covers all aspects of a sales funnel from the lead capture to the complete checkout. This is an excellent funnel builder if you’re looking to do a lot of follow-ups for retention. Sounds like the one for you, let’s look into some of the other amazing features Funneljoy offers.

1. 100+ Optimized Page Templates

To create a number of pages, you’ll be needing templates especially if you don’t want to code. Funneljoy has a number of templates all optimized to fit into as many needs as possible. So there are templates for opt-ins, landing pages, and sales pages. These templates are easy to use. Plus they are very intuitive and web-responsive.

A great thing about Funneljoy builder is that it allows you to import your external pages from other builders. All you need to do this is simply use the page URL and you can jump-start your funnel. Although the templates are created to save time and help out, every element on each template can be customized to fit into what you’d prefer.

2. Easy-to-use Editor

Whether you use templates or choose to create your pages from scratch, Funneljoy makes this process seamless by integrating you with its very versatile editor. With this editor, all you need to do is drag and drop. There’s a text/image editor that lets you replace elements however you want to. You can also choose images from the stock images made available on the editor.

Embedding videos are also really easy and achievable in just two clicks. Plus, you can add or edit social share buttons. This way you can get referrals through your visitors as well. Perhaps my favorite element in the editor is the countdown. When you want to create a sense of urgency for your visitors and compel them to take action on a particular page, this feature comes in very handy.

3. A/B Testing and Funnel Management

Running A/B tests by splitting funnels or even page elements like buttons, texts, and images, helps you identify which variation drives the most conversions to your website. This is why Funneljoy offers A/B testing for your funnel pages. However, this feature is limited to the Work and Advanced pricing plan.

Asides from split testing, you can clone your funnels. What this means is that you can replicate a page or an entire funnel and share it with your team. Finally, with this page builder, you can also sort your funnels. This means you can move pages in and out of your funnels, convert a specific picture to down-sell and even delete pages in your funnel. All without disrupting the flow.

4. Performance Tracking

To effectively monitor your sales funnel and know what aspects are performing well, you have access to a funnel tracker on Funneljoy. Through page views, opt-ins, and sales pages, you can know where exactly your leads are coming from and channel more resources there.

With the heatmap feature, you can know where exactly your visitors visit the most on each page. The areas with the least visitors can be further optimized to drive conversions. The best part is you can monitor all this in one glance from a simplified dashboard. Subsequently, for more tailored data, a view filter option is available.

5. Funneljoy Integrations

Funneljoy gives you the liberty to segment and follow-up on your leads through easy integration. All of which requires zero code knowledge.  You can integrate an email auto-responder for new leads and webinar tools for lead conversions. Some of the integrations Funneljoy has are; PayPal, Mailchimp, Stripe, Aweber, and Zapier.

The biggest flex is that Zapier is a third-party integration tool that lets you connect to over 2,000 other tools. So with Zapier’s integration with Funneljoy, you can link your account with any analytical, CRM, and messaging tools you’d like.

6. Pricing

Now compared to Leadpages, Funneljoy page builder has affordable pricing which can be paid monthly or annually. This pricing comes in three plans; Pro, Work, and Agency. For a start, Funneljoy offers a 14 days free trial where you can have a feel of the product before subscribing for a package.

The Pro package which is the lowest starts at $29 monthly payment and $22 per month when billed annually.

Leadpages Page Builder Overview

Leadpages page builder

Leadpages is a page builder designed to create optimized pages for your website. From landing pages, sales pages, and opt-in forms. Leadpages goes beyond creating optimized pages. With this tool, you can create lead generation strategies through email and text. Yes, you heard me right. Are you interested? Here are some of the features you should also check out on Leadpages;

1. Two Template Variations

When you want to create a page, you’ll get two options to select from. You can either choose the standard template or the drag and drop template. Here’s the difference.

One of Leadpages greatest features is the standard templates. There are a number of templates both in the free and standard pricing plan that doesn’t require a lot of customization. All you need to do is just swap out some of the elements and you’re good to go. This is especially great when you don’t want to worry about the page details.

With the drag and drop editor feature, you can make edits to any part of your page without knowing a single line of code. The thing is using this editor might be a little frustrating because it’s not very intuitive. Plus, the results don’t usually come out great. So it’s advisable to stick to the standard templates when creating.

2. Lead Notifications and SMS Signup

Asides from the prebuilt templates, another great feature Leadpages has is the lead generation methods it offers. With Leadpages, you can collect leads through emails and SMS services. The catch, however, is that you have to subscribe to an email marketing service first.  But, Leadpages integrates with a lot of email service providers so you won’t have an issue with that.

For the SMS signup called lead digits, you simply send bulk SMS to your leads and ask them to send their email address to sign up. Once they respond, they are automatically subscribed to your list. This way, getting email addresses is easier, faster, and less time-consuming.

3. A/B Testing

Leadpages offers A/B testing for every page you create with it. This is great because you can test what variation of a page is converting more before launching completely. It’ll also give you insight into what to use during a subsequent campaign. However, this A/B test can only be used in standard templates. Sadly, A/B testing is only available on Pro and Advanced payment plans.

4. Integrations

Leadpages integrates easily with a lot of third-party apps, especially email service providers. These integrations include; 1shopping cart, Active Campaign, Hubspot, Mailchimp, and Google analytics  amongst other analytics, CRM tools

5. Pricing

Yes, we all want to know how much it costs. Leadpages offers a 14-day free trial. Afterward, you can choose one of the three pricing options. These options are the Standard, Pro, and Advanced versions. All these versions can be an annual or monthly payment depending on your preference. Now into the details.

The Standard plan starts at $37 monthly and at $25 per month when you pay annually.

The Pro plan starts at $79 monthly and $48 per month when you pay annually.

Finally, the Advanced plan starts at $329 monthly and at $199 monthly when you pay annually.

6. Customer Support

While using a new tool especially a page builder, you’re going to need a community of support to help you with onboarding and other features. Leadpages offer consistent webinars to help users understand certain functionalities. There are a lot of training resources you can refer to along with an active blog.

Unfortunately, Leadpages only offers a LiveChat service in the app for Pro and Advanced users. However, there’s an active Facebook community you can turn to when you need anything. And you can always send an email regardless of what plan you’re on.

Pros of Leadpages

Well, you know what the features of Leadpages are. Let’s see some of the upsides that come with it;

  1. Great for creating landing pages, sales pages, funnels, opt-in forms, pop-ups, and alert bars.
  2. It is easy to integrate with your email marketing service.
  3. Standard pre-built templates that have been thoroughly optimized to bring results.
  4. Great for collecting leads through email and SMS.
  5. Free hosting and tracking.
  6. It is easily accessed from your content management system like WordPress.

Cons of Leadpages

  1. It can be a little pricy.
  2. Customer support features are limited based on payment plans.
  3. Has a buggy drag and drop editor.
  4. It has zero check out pages.
  5. Can be a wrong choice if you’re looking forward to customizing your pages a lot more.

After carefully weighing both pros and cons, I’ll be tilting towards Funneljoy. This is because while Leadpages focuses more on capturing leads, Funneljoy concentrates on collecting and nurturing these leads. Plus, it is easy to use, all customer service platforms are accessible regardless of your plan and it’s cheap.

However, if you do have a little more to spend and you want to channel these resources for lead capturing, then you can opt for Leadpages. Let me know if this has been helpful in the comment section below.
